ARTIST STATEMENT

 

Art is the way my soul expresses itself in this lifetime. I discover more about myself through creating work that reveals and furthers my spiritual growth. The process draws from multiple parts of my being, and involves play, introspection, understanding of material and technique, hard work, learning from past experiences, careful decision-making, craftsmanship, problem-solving, intuition, research and mystery. It often takes many months after completion before I understand the meaning of a piece I made and its significance to my life.
